The Graham Fam

Hello again! Having someone comb through your family photos with a fine tooth swipe is pretty personal, so I want to make sure the knowledge goes both ways! I’d love to virtually introduce you to my little family.

Sean and I met in college, and have been married 8 years this summer. He’s the fun, ambitious, spontaneous one and I’m the safe, emotional, prepared one. We’re different in a lot more ways than we’re alike, but our fundamental values and wants in life are the same. Our differences have made us better people – I’m much more willing to try new things, and he’s much more likely to be on time! HAHA. I couldn’t think of a more supportive, loving, and perfect partner to be spending my life with.

Our daughter Blakeslee was born in the Fall of 2016, and definitely turned our world upside down in the best way. She was not the most sleepy newborn you’ve ever met, but I would say that’s pretty normal! We were among the first of our friends to have kids, which is definitely harder than that little sentence makes it sound. More on that another day 🙂 She’s the SMARTEST child I’ve ever met, and just talks our ears off 24/7. Blakeslee loves playing pretend and is currently obsessed with princesses and swimming… Sounds about right for a 3 year old girl, right?!

Our sweet baby boy Grady was born just under two years later, and has brought so much joy to our life! He was the happiest, most go with the flow baby I’ve EVER seen in my life. I promise I did not take that for granted; if he had been our first we would have been in for a rude awakening with subsequent babies! As a toddler he’s really coming into his own… lots of opinions and doesn’t hesitate to TRY to tell you what he means. We’re working on his speech and I feel like he’s getting it more and more each day. I’m soaking up all his baby-ness while he still has it – I know it’s only a matter of time before he’s a big boy.

The four of us live in Falls Church. Sean works for the State Department, and I am a newborn and family photographer in the northern Virginia and DC area. We’ll be moving overseas for Sean’s job in a few years, so I’m thankful to have this business and community that can travel with me across the globe.

Have questions about my little fam? I’d love to chat with you!
